Indigo - Indigofera tinctoria
Indigo is a natural dried powder from the partly fermented leaves of Indigofera tinctoria plant. It contains a blue dye that when used with henna will dye your hair in a range of colours from reddish brown, light brown, brown, dark brown to beautiful jet-black. Always use indigo with henna - you wouldn't be happy ending up with bluish hair! Add amla in your henna-indigo mix and you will get cooler brown shades.
Indigo gives a good natural way to dye your hair black. Apply henna paste to clean hair, hold it for 2-4 hours, rinse out thoroughly and wash with shampoo. NB! Do not use conditioner! Then mix a necessary amount of indigo paste, apply on towel-dry-hair, hold it for 1-2 hours, rinse out thoroughly and wash with shampoo. Add conditioner if you like. The final result will appear after 24-36 hours.
You just have to combine it with henna, and you will have rich brown or jet-black hair that are lustrous shiny and smooth. No need to use chemicals, ppd, heavy metals or any other crap. Before you start use indigo and henna to colour your hair jet-black, be sure this is what you are looking for. It is a permanent hair-dye and does not come out from hair.
